IDEA

Due to career criteria, the effort and the time spent in teaching is reducing. To support and meet the lecturer' expectations, it has been provided with a mix of opportunities: a variety of experiences, tools, relationships, from which everyone can draw stimuli to increase the effectiveness of teaching and involvement of the classroom. The activities have three macro-ingredients: methodological training, teaching technologies, and methodological experiences. The impact can be measured by lesson redesign and discussion in the academic community.

Initially, the research project was called TEACH-POT (Provide Opportunities in Teaching). In 2020 it evolved in IDEA, including strong support in facing the emergency condition related to the COVID-19.

In a.y. 2020/21 a thematic workshop "We have an IDEA: Instruction Design Elementary Application" was organised for the students of the Collegio Universitario "Einaudi". The course included a two hours lesson followed by eight hours of design in small groups. In the end, the new IDEAs have been presented and discussed.
