STEMM games at Fondazione Collegio Universitario Einaudi
On September 27th, the first edition of the STEMM games will take place at Fondazione Collegio Universitario Einaudi. Students will face five different challenges, each one based on the five different categories: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Medicine.

Below are the students that will receive a smart notebook thanks to the work done during the CIAO! module.
CIAO! - Corso Interattivo di Accompagnamento Online
CIAO needs to be considered a prerequisite for the first course in Mathematics for all the first-year students. On September 24th, students are invited to participate in a Virtual Escape Room that will test their knowledge by allowing them to "enter" the Politecnico and take a seat in the classroom. Those who manage to complete the task by the end of the day (midnight on 24/09/2021) will participate in the final draw of 20 "smart notebooks".

We are happy to announce the possibility to contribute to a Special Issue "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in STEM for a Sustainable Future", edited by Sustainability, an open-access journal by MDPI.
This Special Issue aims to address research mainly related to:
- Theoretical insight into the reasons for this imbalance;
- Empirical evidence, experimental approaches, and best practices of recruitment and retention in STEM education;
- Ideas and policy to support gender balance careers in a STEM context.

The paper "SAperI: approaching gender gap using Spatial Ability training week in high-school context" by Maria Giulia Ballatore, Gavin Duffy, Sheryl Sorby, and Anita Tabacco presented at the TEEM'20 conference in Salamanca received the Best scientific divulgation video.
